Disease Of Takfir

Shirk (شرك) or Milk (اللَّبَن)?

The Prophet did not fear Shirk for his Ummah – he feared Milk and Takfiris 🙂

He actually feared “milk – اللَّبَن” (i.e. indulging in luxury) more than “Shirk”!

Does it make sense for the Prophet to fear “milk” more than “shirk” – if the Najdi claim was correct that the Ummah had gone back to the Shirk al-Jahiliyah?

Not at all.

Their Takfir is built upon their faulty understanding of what constitutes ‘worship’.

Yes – some Shirk will take place in the end of times by some tribes , but the Ummah in general is safe from polytheism.

Those who want to do mass Takfir on the BEST OF NATIONS, they should first fight the chains of these authentic Ahadith with Bukhari and Muslim:

1- The Prophet said:
“By Allah, I do not fear that you will ascribe partners with Allah after I’m gone.”
(Sahih Bukhari 1357, 3639, 6502, 4134, Sahih Muslim 6117, 6116).

2- The Prophet said:
“The devil has given up all hope that he will ever be worshipped again by the worshippers in the Arabian Peninsula.”
(Sahih Muslim 7281).

3- The Prophet said:
“And the Shaytan has given up all hope that he will be worshipped EVER AGAIN in this land of yours.”
(Tirmidhi, 2159 – he authenticated it: وهذا حديث حسن صحيح ).

4- Ibn Abbas narrated:
“When the Prophet conquered Makkah, the Shaytan cried. His army gathered around him. The Shaytan said to them: “All hope is lost that we will ever see the nation of Mohammad to commit Shirk again after this day.”
(Al-Targhib, 3526 – Albani considered the chain good: حسن ).

5- Shaddad asked the Prophet:
“O Prophet of God, will your Ummah ascribe partners to Allah after you?” The Prophet replied, “O Shaddad, they will not worship the sun or the moon or stones or idols, but they will do actions to please others.”
(Al-Hakim, 4/330 – he authenticated it: هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد ولم يخرجاه ).

6- Ibn Hibban narrated in his Sahih:
“Verily, I fear about a man from you who will read the Qur’an so much that his face will become enlightened and he will come to personify Islam. This will continue until Allah desires. Then these things will be taken away from him when he will disregard them by putting them all behind his back and will attack his neighbour with the sword accusing him of Shirk.” The Prophet was asked: “Which of the two will be deserving of such an accusation? The attacker or the attacked?” The Prophet replied: “The attacker.” (i.e. the Takfiri).
(“Sahih Ibn Hiban”, 1/281 – Ibn Kathir said this chain is good: هذا إسناد جيد).

7- It has been narrated:
Jabir ibn Abdullah (companion) was asked, “Would you call someone from the ahl al-qiblah (our prayer direction) kaafir?” Jaabir said: “We seek refuge from God from that!” He was asked, “And would you call someone Mushrik?” He said, “No.”
(“Kitab al-Iman”, 95 – Albani said that it’s authentic:
