Two Khawarij

Two people from the Khawarij were making Tawaf around the Ka’bah – about 1,000 years ago.

One of them said to his companion: “Do you see these crowds of people? None of them will enter Paradise, except you and me.”

His companion – who was a bit smarter – asked: “So a – “Paradise whose width is as the width of the heavens and the Earth” (Qur’an 57:21) – was built just for you and me?”

He said: “Yes.”

So his companion said: “You can have it all!”

And he left the Takfiri mentality of the Khawarij.

قال أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب الأصم:
“طاف خارجيان بالبيت فقال أحدهما لصاحبه : لا يدخل الجنة من هذا الخلق غيري وغيرك . فقال له صاحبه : جنة عرضها كعرض السماء والأرض بنيت لي ولك ؟ فقال : نعم. فقال : هي لك وترك رأيه
