Deeds Will Be Weighed, Not Counted

On the Day of Judgement:
Actions will be WEIGHED, not COUNTED

It’s : Quality over Quantity.

Ibn Kathir writes in his Tafsir (8/176):

وَقَوْلُهُ : ( لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ) أَيْ : خَيْرٌ عَمَلًا
كَمَا قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ : وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَكْثَرُ عَمَلًا

“And God’s statement:

“The One who created the death and the life to test which one of you does BETTER WORK”, (Qur’an 67:2) – means, the best quality actions. Muhammad bin ‘Ajlan said: “God did not say: “… which one of you does MORE WORK.”

It’s better to say 1x “God forgive me”, from the bottom of your heart, with full conviction and remorse – than to say it 100x with an absent heart.

It could be that a charity of $1 , overtakes a charity of $100,000 in reward – due to intentions.
