Mountains Have Feelings

Do Mountains have Feelings?

Yes.

The Prophet ﷺ said about the Mountain of Uhud:
هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ
“This mountain loves us and we love it.”
[“Sahih Bukhari”, 2889].

Many scholars said this is REAL LOVE – not metaphorical:

1- Ibn Hajar explained:
“This mutual love is real and understood in the apparent sense. The Prophet addressed this mountain like a possessor of intelligence is addressed.”
[“Fath al-Bari”, 7/437].

2- Ibn Abdul-Barr said:
“A group of scholars understood this as a literal reality and said that it is possible that the mountain loved them like they loved it.”
[“Al-Tamhid”, 22/331].

3- Imam Nawawi said:
“The correctly chosen opinion is that the mountain of Uhud really loved them and God can have placed some sense of awareness in it to be able to love.”
[“Sharh Sahih Muslim”, 9/140].

So, next time you want to throw litter on the floor, don’t do it.
Respect the planet, respect the land you walk on.
We are guests on this planet.
The mountains, stones, trees, and other inanimate object which we consider lifeless have senses & feelings.
They have a sense of awareness.
We don’t know how, but they do.
This is not something we can sense or pick up with scientific methods yet, but maybe in the future.
This completely changes a person’s perception of reality!!!
