Romance

An Andalusian poet noticed the sun shining on his wife’s face, so he said the following lines of poetry:

‎فَقُلْتُ يَا عَجَبًا الشَّمْسُ فِي القَمَرِ
‎وَالشَّمْسُ لا يَنْبَغِي أنْ تُدْرِكَ القَمَرَا
So I said: “How strange! the sun, on the moon!”
And the sun was not supposed to catch the moon!”
