Polygamy

A man was beating his wife with a stick.

Another man walked past and said: “A stick is used to beat animals, but women are beaten by other women.” (He meant: marry a second wife)

The man didn’t get it, so he asked: “What do you mean?”

The woman quickly interrupted her husband, saying: “Continue with your beatings. Ignore this idiot!”

‎‏رأى حكيم رجلاً يضرب زوجته فقال له :
‎‏العصى للبهائم أما النساء فتُضرب
‎‏ بالنساء ( يقصد ان يتزوج عليها )
‎‏فقال الرجل : لم أفهم !
‎‏فَرَدَّت الزوجة قائلة : أَكْمِل الضرب
‎‏ وَدَعْكَ من هذا الغبيّ .
