Change Yourself

In an ancient kingdom, before shoes were invented, people used to walk barefooted.
A king walked outside, and his foot got injured by the rough terrain.
The king ordered his officials: “Cover all the roads in my kingdom with soft leather!!”
One of his advisers said: “To get that much leather, we need to kill thousands of animals…”
A wise man intervened and said: “Instead of covering all the roads of your kingdom with leather, isn’t it easier if we cover our own two feet with leather?”

Moral of the story: you can’t change the world, but if you change yourself, your world will change.
