High Ambitions – علو الهمة

A woman was told: “Rejoice! Your son became a governor!”
She started crying.
They asked why she was crying.
She said: “I raised him to be a king, and he only became a governor.”

We should always have high ambitions in life.
Never aim for the bare minimum.

There is a saying:

كن رجلاً رجله في الثرى
وهامة همته في الثريا
“Be like a person whose feet are on the ground,
his ambitions in the heavens!”
