The Prophet’s Sword

The Prophet of Mercy – نبي الرحمة

Ali Ibn Abi Talib says that it was inscribed at the edge of the Prophet’s SWORD:

لما ضممتُ إليّ سلاح رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ،
وجدتُ في قائم سيف رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رقعة فيها :
صل من قطعك
وأحسن إلى من أساء إليك
وقل الحقّ ولو على نفسك
“JOIN HIM WHO CUTS YOU OFF;
DO GOOD TO HIM WHO DOES EVIL TO YOU;
AND SPEAK THE TRUTH EVEN IF IT BE AGAINST YOURSELF.”

[Authentic – ‘Silsilah Ahadith as-Sahihah’, 1911].

This was written on his sword!!

So even as a warrior – he was merciful.

It says in the Qur’an:

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We did not send you, except as a Mercy to the Worlds.” [21:107].

Those who terrorise innocent people in his name, they have nothing to do with him and he has nothing to do with them.
