War Of Fitnah

Ibn Taymiyah said:

ومن رأى أن هذا القتال مفسدته أكثر من مصلحته، علم أنه قتال فتنة
‘Whoever sees that the harms of a particular war outweigh its benefits, then he knows that this war is a Fitnah (tribulation – impermissible to take part in).’
