Privacy

It is said: ‘Every house has its secrets’ [لكل بيت أسرار]…

The Qur’an states about visiting people’s homes:

وَإِن قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱرْجِعُوا۟ فَٱرْجِعُوا۟ ۖ

‘𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂: ‘𝗚𝗼 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆,’ 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗼 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆.’ [24:28].

Don’t insist on entering people’s homes… they may be busy, they may be short on food, they may have had an argument, their house may be in a mess, etc.

Respect people’s privacy.

And Imam Malik said :

ليس كل أحد يقدر أن يتكلم بعذره

‘Not everyone can disclose their reasons to you.’
