Prophet Muhammad

The Qur’an says:

“And Muhammad is only a Messenger.
Surely, Messengers have passed before him.”
[Qur’an 3:144].

The Prophet said:

“My example in comparison with the other prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a nice complete house, but it was missing one brick in a corner. The people went about it and wondered at its beauty, but said: ‘If only this last brick was put in its place!’ So I am that last brick, and I am the last of the Prophets.”

[“Sahih Bukhari”, 3535].
