Using Good Words

Al-Khattabi narrates:

‎وخرج عمر رضي الله عنه يَعُسُّ المدينة باللَّيل، فرأى نارًا موقدةً في خِبَاء، فوقف، وقال: يا أهل الضَّوء. وكَرِه أن يقول يا أهل النَّار
Omar once went out at night in Madinah and he saw a fire in the distance.
As he approached it, he called them: ‘O people of the light.’
As he did not like calling them: ‘O people of the fire.’
