Shaykh Sa’di was once fixing a drainage pipe of the mosque during a dry season.

People were confused, so they asked why?

The Shaykh replied:

غداً سنصلي الإستسقاء
“We are performing the rain prayer tomorrow.”

[meaning: when you pray, expect a response].
