Arrogance

Arrogance – تكبر

One should not be arrogant.
In our countries, when a person gets a high level job, he becomes arrogant and look down on others.
He disrespects respected people in front of their families.
He walk on earth, as if the earth should be thankful that he walks on it.
No matter how powerful one becomes, it’s all temporary.
We all eventually become dust.

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيص
“And how many generations did We destroy before them, who were far mightier than them? When the torment came, they desperately sought refuge in the land. But was there any escape?” [Qur’an 50:36].
