Double Faced People

The Prophet said:
تَجِدُ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ذَا الْوَجْهَيْنِ، الَّذِي يَأْتِي هَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ وَهَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ
“The worst people in the Sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be the double faced people who appear to some people with one face and to other people with another face.”
[“Sahih Bukhari”, 6058].

Two-faced (ذو الوجهين) hypocrites are like the “snakehead” fish:
When they are around snakes, they say: we are snakes.
When they are around fishes, they say: we are fish.

بعضی مردم خاصیت مار ماهی را دارند .
وقتی با مار یکجا شوند میگویند مارهستیم!
و وقتی با ماهی یکجا میشن میگویند در اصل ماهی هستیم.
