Isolation Is Disliked

It has been narrated:

أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن الوحدة،
أن يبيت الرجل وحده أو يسافر وحده
“The Prophet disapproved of isolation,
and that a person spends the night alone,
or travels alone.”

[“Musnad Ahmad”, 5618 – إسناده صحيح].

* Note: Tabari said this ‘نهي’ is a ‘نهي الكراهة’, not a ‘نهي التحريم’, so its not sinful, but isolation is highly discouraged, socialization is encouraged with the right people.
