Sustenance Of Children

Ibn Kathir mentions:

شكى رجل إلى إبراهيم بن أدهم كثرة عياله
فقال له: ابعث إلي منهم من ليس رزقه على الله
فسكت الرجل

A man complained to Ibrahim ibn Adham about (feeding) the number of children he had.

Ibrahim said to him: “Send me the one’s amongst them whose provision is not from Allah.”

The man remained silent.
