The Wisdom behind Rich & Poor – حكمة

A rich man saw a poor man working and said:
“O God, why did You not make everyone rich and needless?”
In a dream, he found himself in a world were everybody was rich and needless.
He became happy!
But one day his door broke …
He went to the carpenter and said: “Can you fix my door?”
The carpenter said: “Why should I?”
The man said: “I will pay you.”
The carpenter said: “I don’t need anything. I’m needles.”

Then he understood why this balance of interdependency was created by God.

The Qur’an states:

وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا
“And We raise some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work.” [Qur’an 43:32].

As for people dying out of hunger: this is mainly due to human selfishness, greed and evils of Capitalism.
God instructed the rich to employ the poor and to pay them charity.
God showed us the perfect balance, but it is us humans that keep disturbing the balance.
People in some parts of the world die from eating TOO MUCH food, others die from eating TOO LITTLE food.
26 people own as much wealth as 50% of the world’s population!
It is calculated that even if the 100 richest people on the planet paid Zakat, that poverty would be eradicated from the entire world!
Selfish humans don’t do their part and then blame God.
