Crooked Shadow

It is said:
كيف يستقيم الظل والعود أعوج؟
“How can the shadow be straight,
while the branch is crooked?”

If you want the shadow to be straight, then straighten the branch. Don’t try to straighten the shadow. If you straighten the branch, the shadow will straighten by itself.
