Do It Yourself

A thief stole something from a man and ran away.
The man told his servant to catch him.
The servant ran after him, but the thief escaped.
The man asked : “Why couldn’t you catch him?!”
The servant replied [this is in Farsi]:

آن برای خودش می‌دوید امّا من برای تو می‌دویدم
“He was running for his own sake;
while I was running for your sake.”

LESSON: If you want to do something properly, do it yourself. Others will not do things for you, with the same zeal & passion.
