Good & Better

It was said:

‎الحياء من الرجال حسن، ولكنه من النساء أحسن.
The shyness of men is good [hassan],
but the shyness of women is better [ahsan].

‎والتوبة من الشيخ حسن، ولكنها من الشباب أحسن.
The repentance of elderly is good [hassan],
but the repentance of the youth is better [ahsan].

‎والجود من الأغنياء حسن ولكنه من الفقراء أحسن
The generosity of the rich is good [hassan],
but the generosity of the poor is better [ahsan].
