Knowledge
How much knowledge [علم] is out there?
When Moses and Khidr were on the boat:
‘𝗔 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮. 𝗔𝗹-𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱: “𝗢 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀! 𝗠𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 [𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺] 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 [𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲] 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 [𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻] 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗸.’
[‘Sahih Bukhari’, 122].
Knowledge is an Ocean that has no shore [العلم بحر لا ساحل له]… there is horizon after horizon.
How much can a little bucket carry from this ocean?
How much can our little brains absorb?
And the combined knowledge of the entire creation is like a single grain in a desert compared to the knowledge of God, the all-knowing.
