Lion’s Teeth

Al-Mutanabbi said:

إذا رَأيْتَ نُيُوبَ اللّيْثِ بارِزَةً
فَلا تَظُنّنّ أنّ اللّيْثَ يَبْتَسِمُ

“When the lion shows his teeth,
do not assume that the lion is smiling.”
