Ups And Downs Of Life

It was once said:
‎تجري الرياح بما لا تشتهي السفن
‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁.’

Meaning: in life, things don’t always go according to plan and there isn’t much you can do about it.

A poet responded:

‎تَجْرِي الرِّيَاحُ كَمَا تَجْرِي سَفِينَتُنَا
‎نَحْنُ الرِّيَاحُ وَنَحْنُ الْبَحْرُ وَالسُّفُنُ
‘𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁,
𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀,
𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽!’

Meaning: don’t surrender to the fate of circumstances, we can change things, keep manoeuvring around the challenges and things will turn in your favour.
