Ungrateful People

People are generally ungrateful. If you do something for someone, do it for the sake of God. Don’t do it for the sake of people. People will disappoint you.

It is said:

که سپی ته مو درې ورځې ډوډۍ ورکړه؛
نو درۍ کاله مو احسان نه هیروي
که یو انسان ته مو درې کاله ډوډۍ ورکړه؛
په دریو ورځو کې یې له یاده باسي

“Feed a dog for 3 days and he will not forget in 3 years.
Feed a man for 3 years and he will forget in 3 days.”
