Twisting Religion

Sinning is one thing, but what is worse is some people are: “يلوون أعناق النصوص” “twisting the necks of the texts” to justify those sins.

It is better to meet God with sins, than to twist the religion.

The texts don’t need to submit to our opinions, customs, ways and desires – just like a medicine is not expected to submit to the disease.

Islam by definition means: “submission”. We need to submit to the Will of God, and not twist the religion until it complies with our will and desires.
