The Judge

A woman took her lazy and negligent husband to court, because he did not provide her sustenance.
The judge ruled: ‘You have to give her bread and water.’
The man said: ‘I water her every night, but I struggle to provide bread sometimes.’

جائت امراه بزوجها الى القاضى وشكت انه لا يطعمها ولا يسقيها
فقال له القاضى يجب عليك ان تطعمها الخبز وتسقيها الماء
فقال الرجل اعز الله القاضى اما الماء فانا اسقيها كل ليله واما الخبز فلا اقدر عليه
