Khateeb al-Baghdadi narrates that some scholars said:

وعن الرحبي قال:
سمعتُ بعض أصحابنا يقول: إذا كتبَ لَحَّان، فكتب عن اللَّحان لَحَّانٌ آخر، فكتب عن اللحان لحان آخر، صار الحديث بالفارسيَّة!

“If a man with poor grammar writes something,
and another man with poor grammar writes from him,
and then another man with poor grammar writes from him,
the Hadith will end up in Persian!”
