Repulsive Truth

The devil makes kufr attractive and Islam repulsive to some people.

Imam al-Ghazali said:

هم لا يدركون براهين العقول كما لا تدرك نور الشمس أبصار الخفافيش.
فهؤلاء تضر بهم العلوم كما تضر رياح الورد بالجعل
“They do not (want to) perceive logical arguments, just like a bat does not (want to) perceive the light of the sun.
They are annoyed by these (islamic) sciences, just like a dung-beetle is annoyed by the scent of a rose.”
