Stupid Judges

The Qur’an gives a beautiful example of charity:

مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيم
“Those who contribute their wealth in God’s way are like a seed that sprouts seven heads, in each of which are a hundred grains.
God grants such multiple increase to whom He wills.
God is Infinite and All-Knowing.” [2:261].

If you plant 1 seed, it turns into a plant, the plant sprouts 7 heads, each of them contain 100 new seeds … so, 1 grain turns into 700 grains!

That’s how God multiplies the rewards of giving charity.
