Mother’s Love

It is said:
‎القرد في عين أمه غزال
‘A monkey is a gazelle – in its mother’s eyes.’

And a hedgehog said to its child: ‘how soft is your back!’

Mother’s tend to see the best in their children. Their love for their children blinds them for their flaws and they end up defending their children’s bad behaviour.

It may be a survival instinct in mothers, to protect their children – but it is important to keep this in check.

Correcting the bad behaviour of children is the duty of their parents.

And to all the bad boys: the fact that your mother supports you doesn’t mean you’re on the right track. A mother’s judgement is biased.
