A story about true friends – طرائف الحكماء

A man prepared a big meal and told his brother to invite all friends and relatives.
His brother went outside and called out: “O people, help, my brother’s house is on fire!!!”
Many people ignored him, some people came to help.
Those who came to help were fed the meal.
The man asked his brother: “I didn’t recognise any of these people. Where are our friends and relatives?”
His brother replied: “These people came out to help us, not for the food. They are the most entitled to our generosity.”

Those useless friends who don’t help you in your time of need don’t deserve you.
Those who help you in time of need, they are your real friends – invest in them.

‎قام شخص بذبح عجل سمين وأشعل المشواة وقال لأخيه: “اخرج استدعِ لنا الأحباب والجيران ليأكلوا معنا..
‎خرج أخوه ليصرخ: “يا ناس ساعدونا حريق في منزل أخي!”..
‎لحظات قليلة خرج مجموعة من الناس والبقية عملوا كأنهم لم يسمعوا..

‎الناس التي أتت قاموا بالأكل والشرب حتى شبعوا..
‎التفت الأخ لأخيه متعجبا وقال: “الأشخاص الذين أتوا لا أعرفهم ولم يسبق لي رؤيتهم فأين أحبابنا وأصحابنا؟”.
‎فقال الأخ: “الذين خرجوا من بيوتهم أتوا ليساعدونا لإطفاء حريق ببيتنا وليس لأجل الوليمة، فهؤلاء من يستحقون الكرم والضيافة”.

‎الخلاصة : الذي لا تجده بجانبك في وقت الشدة لا تسميه صديقاً بل إحذفه من قاموس حياتك .. فذاك من يضحك عليك وقت الضيق .
