Woman’s Face Is Not Awrah
Is the face of women Awrah? –
Some scholars believe that everything of a woman is Awrah, but the vast majority of scholars believe that the face and hands of women are not part of her Awrah.
One of the evidences they used, is the statement of the Prophet:
“A woman in the state of Ihram should not cover her face, or wear gloves.”
[“Sahih Bukhari”, 1838].

Ibn Qudamah said:
“If the face and hands were Awrah, it would not have been forbidden to cover them.
And also, necessity demands that the face be uncovered for buying and selling, and the hands be uncovered for taking and giving.”
[“Al-Mughni”, 1/349].
